Gin and Juice - Our Team Outting to Ramsbury Estate

Gin and Juice - Our Team Outting to Ramsbury Estate

Gather 'round, because I've got quite the adventure to dish out. Picture this: A team outing with a few of our Taylor Morris buddies, venturing into the heart of Ramsbury Estate. Now, if you don't know, Ramsbury Single Estate is our long-time partner in crime, and they've got something special brewing – premium gin and vodka! Who's up for a G&T, anyone?
So, off we went on this wild ride, ready to uncover the secrets of Ramsbury. First things first, though, let's talk about what makes Ramsbury so unique. Being considered a "single estate" means they do it all, from grain to glass, seed to spirit. Yep, they've got the whole shebang covered, it's quite incredible actually.
But that's not all. Ramsbury's single estate philosophy also means they're all about sustainability. They're working hard to reduce waste and minimize their impact on Mother Nature. We love that kind of eco-love!
Now, picture this: Ramsbury Estate stretches over a whopping 19,000 acres! To kick off our day, we were treated to a breakfast bar loaded with coffee, juice, and scrumptious breakfast delights. And then, the pièce de résistance: classic Land Rovers waiting to whisk us away on an adventure of epic proportions.
We explored every nook and cranny of the estate, got the inside scoop on farming processes from start to finish, and even laid eyes on their colossal farming equipment. It's safe to say we all felt like kids in a candy store, secretly plotting how to hop on those tractors for a joyride.
Now, let's talk about lunch. We hit up the award-winning pub, The Bell at Ramsbury. Naturally, I went all in with the Steak Frites, and guys, it was nothing short of legendary. The table was a smorgasbord of pub classics – fish 'n' chips, roast chicken, and, of course, some pork croquettes to round things off. Delish!
After lunch, it was time for a little liquid magic. Ramsbury treated us to cocktails crafted from their premium spirits, and then we were off on a behind-the-scenes tour of how they produce their spirits and beer. But wait, there's more! We capped off the day by making our very own gin and vodka. With over 50 ingredients to choose from (lavender, pistachio, peppercorns, oh my!), it was like a boozy playground.
Mikul, the Ramsbury Brand Ambassador, was our spirit guide, showing us the ropes of spirit crafting. Let me tell you, the Gin School is an adventure worth checking off your bucket list.
Now, if you're planning a day trip out of London, Ramsbury Estate is a must. And if you want to extend your countryside getaway, why not crash at The Bell? It's the cherry on top of an already epic sundae.
Overall? Our trip to Ramsbury was off the charts! If you're a gin enthusiast like me, this place is a must-visit. So, until next time – sip, spin, and keep those spirits soaring high! 🍸✨
