In October, amidst the brief break between the lockdown periods, the Taylor Morris Team hosted a product launch and promotional event at the stunning Cheval Gloucester Park, an all-apartment Residence part of Cheval Collection. Socially distanced of course.
In honour of our collaboration with iconic British car manufacturer, Morgan Motors, we arrived at the Residence in two beautiful Plus Fours. Trying not to get distracted by views of the London landscape that surrounded us, we set up and prepared to welcome press, buyers and friends of the brand to view our debut optical collection. By ‘prepared’ we mean we poured ourselves a few drinks from the generous selection provided to us, courtesy of our drinks partners Ramsbury, Vivir and Della Vite. Snapshots of which many of you will have seen on the @taylormorrisofficial Instagram page.
The two cosy apartments we were spread across provided a very fitting backdrop for our ‘At Home’ themed shoot which showcases our optical frames in the context of where one would most likely be wearing them: At home. The retro mid-20th century décor, with a modern twist, made for a great setting to capture our collection; our own frame designs often birthed from a reimagination of vintage styles.
As you can tell, we ensured that we made the most out of what became an eventful two days and used it as an opportunity to create some new and refreshing content, alongside our residential photographer Grey Hutton. This was especially important to us in a time where restrictions have made this a little more difficult…not just an excuse to enjoy a few drinks with friends, we promise.
Overall, we had a brilliant time and felt that the Cheval Collection apartments were truly a home away from home. The only let down was that we were only there for two days. We plan on heading up to Cheval The Edinburgh Grand soon, however I think we might need a week’s stay…at least!
With the current situation lightening, we look forward to welcoming you into our Notting Hill Home and HQ (74 Golborne Road) from the 2nd December. A browse, a chat and perhaps a G&T with you all are well overdue. See you soon…
